After coming up short on the first day of the 6A Girls State Golf Tournament, which doubles as the conference championship, the Golf Belles came back strong on Day 2 to bring home their first state title since 1999. Mount St. Mary Academy won the tournament with a two-round total of 497, edging Conway High School by two strokes at Springdale County Club on September 26 and 27.
Chloe Freville '26 finished third overall with a 156 (80-76) to lead the Golf Belles. Lillie York '27 shot a 171 (83-88), Bella Gutierrez '26 shot a 172 (88-84), and Maria Ezzi '26 shot a 174 (88-86). This year's team also included Bella Craiglow '25, Kennedy Griffin '24, and Savannah Straessle '24. They were coached by Cody Griffin.
