members of Krafty Belles pose with donated crocheted breast prostheses at CARTI

Members of Krafty Belles, a relatively new student club at Mount St. Mary Academy, recently used their crochet skills to give back to cancer patients. The students made and donated more than 20 sets of “Knitted Knockers” – soft, comfortable breast prostheses made from high-quality materials using a specific pattern – to CARTI Cancer Center in Little Rock for women who have had mastectomies and lumpectomies.
