The Mount St. Mary Academy Class of 2027 participated in the time-honored tradition of receiving their senior rings during a special service at Christ the King Catholic Church on Wednesday, April 29. After the opening hymn was sung, the juniors celebrated Mass with their families in preparation of becoming next year’s leaders.

Following the special Mass, homeroom teachers announced the names of all 125 members of the Class of 2027. Each young woman stood as her name was called and was then presented her senior ring by a family member. At the conclusion, MSM Chaplain Msgr. Lawrence Frederick blessed the rings as the students collectively stood. The rings will not only serve as a symbol of the group’s class unity and leadership, but also as an important reminder to live Mercy every day.

Congratulations to next year’s leaders, the Mount St. Mary Academy Class of 2027!
