Elevating Expectations

Mount St. Mary Academy is a learning environment that is unique in Arkansas. As the only Catholic high school for young women in the state, we are devoted to the high standards of academic excellence and Christian values exemplified and taught by our school's founders, the Sisters of Mercy, over 160 years ago. Our supportive, yet challenging, all-girl environment provides a platform where girls can build confidence as they grow academically and spiritually, developing the skills that will help them navigate today's complex world.

When girls are expected to hold every position - scholars, artists, athletes and class leaders - they rise to the challenges set before them, consistently achieving in the classroom, the gymnasium, or the community. Nearly 100 percent of each Mount St. Mary Academy graduating class goes on to pursue a college education, and equipped with a strong moral and intellectual foundation, our students are well prepared to meet the challenges of the future.

Registration Underway for Online Summer Courses

Students at Mount St. Mary Academy will have two options for online courses during the summer months. Mount St. Mary will be offering courses for initial credit and for credit recovery through Mercy Online and will be offering some new summer courses this year through Acellus.

For Mount St. Mary Academy students, courses taken for recovery are not given a grade. Instead the pass will be recorded on your transcript with a “P” and .5 credit. Also, for Mount St. Mary Academy students, courses taken for initial credit are recorded on your transcript but are not calculated into your cumulative GPA.

Mercy Online and Acellus summer courses are open to the community, so tell your family and friends! Read more in the course offerings.
