Centered in Catholic tradition, Mount St. Mary Academy has a rich heritage of Mercy education that dates back to 1851. In fact, our school was one of the first in the country founded by the Sisters of Mercy and is proud to be among the oldest of the 55 educational members of Mercy Education.

We encourage young women of all faiths to deepen their understanding of God and to strengthen their personal relationship with Him during their time at Mount. Our Catholic foundation and traditions of service and Mercy promote faith formation and inspire young women to make a difference in their community and the world, just like Sisters of Mercy Founder Catherine McAuley.
